It was confusing to me whether or not Dexter was HIS name, the name of a band, if his name was Colancho, if he was even a real artist page. It all just turned me over.

Oh hey, I feel like drinking today. I want to get a sipping drink of some sort, but I also want it to mix well with other drinks if it's too much for my old man pallet.

What's a good sipping liquor? I'm open to anything so long as it's not outrageously priced and I would prefer you mention something I can mix it with if I don't care for it on it's own.

I just gt home from a meeting and Lucian's at school and I am having a glass (or 3) of fine sherry and a cigar... its 5 oclock somewhere!

It's almost noon here so I must make haste.

What's the name of the Sherry, how much does it cost, and what would it go well with?

and I am smoking a smuggled Havana el president

but you may want to purchase soething from the Dominican republic.... your goal is to nurse 1 glass of sherry or brandy while dipping the mouth end of the cigar into it so you suck alchohol in while inhaling fine cigar with potent nicotine and fine flavors likelether and sandalwood that accent the beverage you are drinking... I don't know ho exas is for the good life but where I live I can literally walkto a smoke shop that smuggfles Cubans and get myself whatever I desire.... the same owner runs a lovely liquor store

EDIT: by the way I am 'working' now charging billables, I arrived home from a tense fiduciary meeting and decided I needed some wine and cigar to relax and be effective in AP concerns under the tight constraints presented earlier... I am currently handling payables for a drug rehab/halwayhouse(s), looking after the wellbeing of my people

I was just reading and nearly decided to get Ron Zacapa 23 Solera.

You know... Cuban cigars are not illegal anymore man.

I'm fixin' to go get that Bodegas sherry if the local store has it. I've been craving beef all day too. I think I'm going to grab some ribs or my new favorite cut, the, "Poor Man's Fillet" otherwise known as the Southwest Griller. I found one the other day for cheap and brought it home. I really enjoy this cut. It puffs up 3 times it's size in the broiler.

Texas's view of the good life depends on which city you are closest to and who you are with. We have our cigar and sherry people here, but they are more likely to be found near Dallas, Austin, and the coast.

Poorer people tend to grill a lot and drink beer together in backyards and garages.

I am a romantic for the dying Old West. Sitting in a wooden rocking chair on a ranch porch and hearing the hollow ocean-like roar of the chair's bottom rolling over the untreated wooden floor and breaking the silence that would otherwise feel so large at times your breath feels like it hits a wall right in front of you. A long, hot day of horrible sweaty work finally coming to an end, the sky turning purple and orange as the sun hides itself behind a few hills, and the smell of a fire cooking a mass amount of calories and fats and knowing that the person cooking it is pouring out their soul and memories into pots and pans. When your body feels swollen and sore, the taste of any stiff drink is the greatest one you have ever had. It's rare to see a cigar pulled from a pocket and even rarer to see a loaded pipe anymore. I miss seeing stars.

I don't see why grilling beef and sippinf sherry and smoking cigars should be mutually exclusive propositions! excelsior! so many levels of enjoyment and we can pass some down to those in need too, love for everyone!

I've felt the need to go out and do something charitable, but I have not decided what. I want to do it on Christmas Eve perhaps. I have ideas, but I really want to give at least one person a break. I don't want to give money to a group of people to decide how to spend it on the needy, I don't want to buy toys or un-needed things for people, I also don't want to get myself in trouble/danger either. I had thought about looking for someone who is in need and has kids, and setting them up with a hotel room, some new clothes, and a laptop so they can contact family or look for a job, but I don't know if that is what would be a game changer for them. I've been pondering this for a couple of weeks.

you could but q 10 dollar of heroin for a sad junky to keep him or her well for a day or two

I ended up buying the rum because they didn't have the sherry you had and they didn't seem super knowledgeable about Sherry. The rum tastes of liquor unfortunately, but the after taste is great. Tastes like cookies.
