The artists name is Jesse Wells; "Welles" is the name of his current Band/incarnation but he's fronted other bands too

He's a young artist to watch if you're into the likes of Dylan, Prine, Blaze Foley or Townes Van Zandt - A fine storytelling lyricist.

This s is weird. It looks like thus profile says he's a singer, and group? Wtf. And why does this mouth breather named a band after himself but change the spelling? Gimmee a few to wrap my head around all this.... so i need to make his name Jesse Wells no E and it shouldn't say he's a group, just a singer and guitarist?

Edit: Heres the problem, mods can't change artist names. We should be able to but I've never had the option appear when editing an artist. I was just looking at his profile edit page and the 2 guys who created and edited this artist page screwed it up royally. If I had the power I would delete it and start over with separate Jesse Wells artist and Welles band pages.

This is the artist Jesse Welles I'd like to add - Clearly a fingerpickin' folk guitarist... wearing my hair from1976 - Currently performing this sort of stuff in 2024/25

Whereas Welles seems to be the rock band of "Jesse Wells" circa 2018. Looks almost like a different person under all the fur but the voice is the same.
