I think it should go in the bass preamp category: https://equipboard.com/c/bass-preamps

If not then just preamp would be fine!

GEAR:
  • DigiTech WH-5 Whammy V
  • Dunlop FFM2 Germanium Fuzz Face Mini
  • Boss OC-5 Octave

that's weird, when I was on my phone I didn't see that category in the drop down, I thought I just dreamed that bass preamp was a subcategory of amps... yes, I know I'm a mod and a mod oughta know this stuff... but I'm also middle-aged, busy, tired, sometimes inebriated and probably mentally ill

done

GEAR:
  • Roland Juno-6
  • Gibson SG Standard
  • Vox AC30 Guitar Combo Amp

Haha well to be fair, some of these bass preamps are so rare these days that they might as well be seen as dreams

well you're all set for that one now... you would see that ashly around when I was younger... I think the bassist from one of my bands used one into a huge power amp I lent him before he bought an SVT. I thought it had a nice piano-like tone the way he set it... kustom tick n roll may have been part of the sound though, that was a cool ported 3x12

GEAR:
  • Roland Juno-6
  • Gibson SG Standard
  • Vox AC30 Guitar Combo Amp

Cool thanks! That piano tone sounds real interesting, especially since it seems to be a stark contrast from the artist that I was going to add the ashly BP41 to (Brian Gibson of Lightning Bolt) loll.

Also I don't think that I've ever come across a Kustom cabinet, looks like it would make nice room decor

as I recall there were azillion tones in the bp41, like a more capable sansamp rbi

they're well made, but the stock speakers with the aluminum domes are not for everyone... the amps are nutty! weird solid state. CCR endorsed them. The fuzz circuit is cool though. I prefer plush amps in the tuck n roll but QC at plush was kinda meh

This just confirms that I need to get one someday gah! ( 'x_x) it sounds so tough

Surprising that CCR used them, I need to set sometime to try one of these fellas out

no sorry, CCR used kustom heads and cabs, not the ashly, the ashly came later...

Hi, can you please add this Vox Mark III Mini Teardrop in Black? I recently purchased one and would like to add it to my catalog. Cheers!

no colors, that's been the policy since like always and everyone ignores it... congrats on your purchase though, cool ax

  • Roland Juno-6

  • Vox AC30 Guitar Combo Amp

Ah I got what you meant, I should've clarified that I found it surprising that CCR used Kustom amps since we were talking about two pieces of gear

  • DigiTech WH-5 Whammy V
  • Dunlop FFM2 Germanium Fuzz Face Mini
  • Boss OC-5 Octave

Also thank you for putting these on the site!

np, you're helping me feel like I'm not procrastinating today... which I am since I'm not doing the job I said I would do and I'm watching youtube and moderating equipboard instead, but the moderating part allows me a degree of self-deception
