mradler's Live Rig
This is the live rig for my band.
There four parallel audio signal chains: 1. Korg Minilogue XD (stereo) 2. A DIY cacophonator -> One Control Junction Box 4M (to convert 1/4 jacks to RCAs) -> Roland SP-404A -> two Ibanez Analog Delay Mini (stereo) 3. Shure SM-58 -> Boss VE-500 (mono) 4. Any mic the venue offers (mono, not included in the pic)
As for MIDI, I use a Retrokits RK-006 as the central MIDI host/hub. It connects to an Arturia Keylab Essential 61 through USB, and splits MIDI note messages to the Minilogue XD and the VE-500 (for vocoder and talkbox). The Minilogue XD is also connected to the hub's input to send MIDI Program Change messages to the VE-500.
The Minilogue XD is powered through its own plug. The RK-006 and Keylab are USB powered by a One Control USB Porter, which with all the others is powered by a Vitoos DD12 isolated pedal power supply, which is attached under the On-Stage KSA7100 Utility Tray, which everything is attached to.
Oh and there is a tambourine for percussion and a battery powered toy speak for weird voices. The spare patch cable is for holding notes for drones.
