thelibraryisonfire's music gear
Modded Sunburst Squier Jagmaster with Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates bridge humbucker. This was my main guitar for the first 4 albums by The Library is On Fire and I played & recorded with it exclusively for years.
I'm not a gearhead or a collector. I view the instrument as a tool; a means to an end. Of course at the same time, I like my gear to look cool.
I bought this from a Musician's Friend scratch'n'dent sale - it was new/open box but had a paint chip on the back - I think I paid something like $200 for it. The neck plays like heaven and I was so so thankful when it arrived that the neck was perfect and brilliant.
I modded the bridge pickup (as I do with all my guitars, I almost always only play through the bridge pickup) with the gainiest pickup I could find - which happened to be the Billy Gibbons Pearly Gates. That pickup is now what I use in all my guitars.
