Also one string is broken so there’s that (Broke as hell musicians at their finest. Just got these and I’m not getting a whole new set just because one.)

thank you. i’ve been wanting to adjust everything but my dad probably took the allen wrenches thinking that they were his, and im not about to go dumpster diving in a whole drawer with way too many ****** allen wrenches (tm). my e string finally broke all the way through, so im using the bass’s factory string.

If Fender is still shipping MIM basses with those medium-ish sized Fender steel round wounds... those are actually pretty decent strings -- sound-wise at least.
