The EQ controls really help the shape a define your drive tone whilst the crush control brings upper midrange back into play on the overdrive circuit if you like your overall tone abit scooped with a low midrange thud, like myself. In addition to the EQ controls you also have a blend control enabling you to keep that clean low end in there. This can almost function as a preamp with drive if you like to keep your signal chain less cluttered. Overall, I love this pedal and have been searching for a unit like this for a while to get the exact punch and bite specific drive tone I have been looking for. Brilliant work Citadel!
