Is it just me, or does the 727 sound a bit brighter/crisper than the 707? I know it's hard to compare, given how different the samples are, but comparing my own 2 units, the 707 is very dark, the 727 is much brighter, and the samples have better clarity/depth. Maybe the DAC on my 707 just needs a calibration?
I find them to be on par regarding sound... or not enough that I noticed an appreciable difference.
I guess I should get my 707 looked at then. Thanks!
