Excellent! I don't recognize the unit with the multicolored buttons. What is that?
Multicoloured buttons unit is the Hydrasynth desktop module. Each button is a velocity sensitive pad that has polyphonic aftertouch!
Didn't realize the desktop version had shipped. Excellent! How do you like it?
Hyrdra desktop is amazing; the amount of modulation it offers is tremendous, and the semi-modular design opens up a lot of possibilities with audio routing and triggers that opens up even more possibilities. The mod-matrix is ridiculous - pretty much anything can be assigned as both a destination and modulation source. Envelopes can also be changed to looping/stepping and serve as LFOs which also can make things get interesting or just plain weird. I'm digging the compact form factor, but sometimes I feel a little bit of 'missing-out-ennui' that I don't have the full keybed with polyphonic aftertouch + the cool ribbon strip on the keyboard model.
