Probably the best bang for your buck RAT pedal in existence
So many options on this you will surely find the RAT you resonate with, and a RAT for every mood you could possibly be in. It's got FAT/Stock/Low switch (stock RAT, FAT RAT, Low RAT) low is great on bass, you can get a very mild fuzz when using this and soft germanium setting for the voicing. It's got an East/West switch true to its cold war name, so you can pick the type of diode the effect uses for amplification.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
Soft Germanium, East, Low, roll up distortion until you get just a hair of fuzz, ensure volume is correct and adjust again if needed. I love having just that bit of soft fuzz over the top, it's a very fun old school kind of sound

Sounds like I always thought my tone should in my head
This amp is amazing, so many features, very versatile, can do anything from clean to crunchy and sounds good pretty much wherever you set it. Just the built in overdrive/gain is crazy good and the blend control lets you keep the dry signal so you don't lose your low end.The tuner is very accurate, matched right up with my Boss TU-3 and in all honestly is probably simpler to use, that being said the boss is fancy so it stays!
Preferred Settings + Usage:
Gain - 1/4 Blend - 1/3 to 1/2 bass - 0 freq - +1 mid - +1 treble - +1
Also throw a tube screamer at it, it sounds great! I know its not a tuber amp, but it still sounds great

Keeps it clean!
Fits 3 Boss pedals well, I even put an ibanez pedal in it (shhhhhh, dont tell Boss). Its nice to just unplus from each end and put the top cover on and stow or carry it away. The included cables are a perfect fit for between the pedals and the included power splitter lets you power all 3 pedals with 1 PSU.

Great beginners bass, very versatile
I love the active/passive setup, it uses passive pickups, so it can be played fine if the battery is dead in passive mode, but flip the switch and you get tone shaping for low, mid, & high, and if you're playing in a rock band you can cut through the mix a bit more in active mode.

Great practice amp
Sound shaping onboard is nice with low, mid, high-mid, and high. A headphone jack make this great for playing in an apartment or a shared living space, or at night. Definitely not suitable for using in a concert settings but it is explicitly a practice amp, so this is expected.
