The Momo MI-5 8-String Bass by Musicvox.
An 8-String Bass by Musicvox “specialty” instruments, the MI-5 MOMO 8-String is somewhat rare/limited , there aren’t huge production numbers, so finds are often on secondary market.
Some versions have Block-Pearloid Inlays, triple binding (body, headstock, neck) depending on color/finish variant.Specs:
• Body: Mahogany.
• Body shape: “MI-5” design , the distinctive Musicvox MI-5 body style.
• Construction: Neck-through-body.
• Neck: Canadian rock maple neck with rosewood fingerboard (or “rosewood eco-equivalent”, according to the spec sheet).
• Truss rods: Dual truss rods (twin double truss rods) for added stability , necessary because of the string tension from the 8-string setup.
• Nut / Neck Width: Nut width 2.126" (≈ 54 mm).
• Neck width at 21st fret: 2.67" (≈ 68 mm).
• Scale length: 34″ (long-scale).
• Frets: 21 frets.
• Bridge / Tailpiece: Musicvox custom 8-string bass stop-tail bridge / fully adjustable 8-saddle bridge.
• Tuners: Locking bass and locking guitar tuners (special Musicvox locking tuners).
• Pickups: Musicvox special humbucker bass pickups (for 8-string configuration) , capable of handling higher string tension and providing adequate output.
• Electronics: Switchable active/passive circuit. In active mode you get a 3-band EQ.
• Controls: 2 × Volume + 2 × Tone + a 3-way toggle switch (for pickup / circuit selection) according to spec sheet.
• Outputs: Dual (stereo) outputs , allowing separate routing of active and passive circuits to two amps or channels.
• Strings: Uses DR 10–46 gauge strings by default (per spec listing).

The Space Cadet 12-String Bass by Musicvox
Is a 12-String Bass with Humbuckers.
Specs:
• Scale length: 34″ (long scale)
• Neck-through Body: Mahogany
• Fingerboard: Rosewood.
• Neck: Maple Neck with Dual truss rods to handle the tension from twelve Strings.
• Nut: Early versions had a brass nut (some later may use graphite or similar) , helps with stability under tension.
• First-series 12-String Basses began in 1999, made in Korea.
• Some Versions have bound body/neck/headstock; others (especially early ones) did not.
• Pickups: Musicvox Humbuckers (Special 12-String Bass Humbuckers)
• Electronics: Active/passive design , you can choose active mode (with built-in 3-band EQ) or passive mode.
• Output: Dual outputs , one active, one passive. This allows (for example) splitting the signal to two amps for stereo or different tonal paths.
• Bridge / Tailpiece: Custom-cast, fully adjustable 8-saddle bridge and tailpiece for accurate intonation across all 12 Strings.
• Tuners: Locking tuners (on at least the first series) to improve tuning stability under heavy string tension.
• The 12-string configuration is “4 courses of 3 strings” , essentially like a standard 4-string bass, but each string is tripled (typically with octave strings accompanying each fundamental).
• Because of the extra strings and resulting tension, the dual-truss-rod neck, mahogany body, and locking tuners were chosen for stability and durability.
• The dual-output + active/passive design gives wide tonal flexibility , from mellow, piano-like resonance to full, huge 12-string bass sound (great for stereo rigs or just extra tonal options).
• There are different finish and build variations depending on series. For example, a limited-edition “Seafoam Green” finish was made in 2001 (very rare), besides the more common Sunburst, White etc.
• Some listings describe a bound body/headstock/neck with Block Pearloid (or black pearl) Inlays on the Rosewood Fingerboard.

Overview Room Chamber Plate Hall Cathedral Space Frozen Nonlin The Reverb Mode control in Valhalla FutureVerb™ switches between 8 unique reverberation algorithms.
The FutureVerb reverbs have been designed for maximum transparency and realism, with none of the coloration that is traditionally associated with algorithmic reverbs.
The modes are sorted by size, with the first 5 algorithms focused on real-world acoustic spaces, and the last 3 designed for huge ambient spaces and tight nonlinear reverbs.
All of the FutureVerb algorithms have been designed to sound good without any modulation being used.
That being said, these are still VALHALLA reverbs, with the lushest modulation ever found in any of our reverbs.
A realistic and versatile model of an enclosed space, ranging in size from small to fairly big.
The Room mode has a very open sound, with little resonance. This mode can be used for drums, vocals, and pretty much anything that needs reverb.
Fast attack, dense early reflections that can be dialed in or out by the Early/Late control, and a natural decay of high frequencies.
A realistic model of a reverb (“echo”) chamber.
More resonant than the Room mode, with a very fast onset of reverb, and a boomier low end that can be dialed in or out via the Low Freq EQ setting.
Based on a physical steel plate, with a lower resonance density than the other reverb modes.
Fast reverb onset, realistic dispersion for a more “metallic” sound, and a big low frequency decay that is controlled by the Low Freq EQ setting.
A realistic concert hall model, with a high echo and resonance density.
Medium fast to slow attack, controlled by the Early/Late control , turn this up to move the listener further back into the hall.
A huge open reverb, modeled after medieval cathedrals.
Slowish attack, huge low frequency decay (controlled by the Low Freq EQ setting), and a vast transparent sound.
For ballad vocals, giant synth spaces, and anywhere where a big, "expensive sounding" reverb is needed.
Transparent sound, lush modulation, and the ability to dial in attack times ranging from instant to glacially slow.
The reverb algorithm to FutureVerb™.
Frozen can be viewed as the largest nonlinear reverb ever.
Turn up the Size control to create reverbs that don't decay so much as hang in space for several seconds, or several tens of seconds.
Use the Attack control to have the sound hit instantly, or fade the reverb in over time.
Lush modulation on tap to make things that much more epic.Compatibility:

The FutureVerb Reverb Plug-In by Valhalla.
Valhalla FutureVerb is a reverb + echo/delay plug-in for music production. It uses modern algorithmic reverb design (after 8 years of development) to deliver very transparent, realistic reverbs , from small rooms to huge halls or ambient-space effects.
It offers 8 different reverb modes (Room, Chamber, Plate, Hall, Cathedral, plus creative ones like Space, Frozen, Non-linear) that cover everything from natural spaces to huge, ambient, or experimental reverbs.
It also includes a powerful echo/delay section with 12 modes , from clean delays to tape-style, analogue, digital, reversed or pitch-shifted echos, giving you texture, character or surreal atmospheres.
Flexible signal flow: You can route echo before or after reverb (Echo → Reverb or Reverb → Echo), allowing for classic reverbs with pre-delay, vintage-style delay + reverb combos, or wild ambient textures.
Simple, yet powerful interface and tonal shaping: The plugin keeps controls accessible (mix, width, modulation, EQ) and offers quick tonal presets (“Color” modes: Bright / Neutral / Dark / Studio) to shape the character of the reverb/delay.Compatibility:
• Windows: Windows 7/8/10/11

Turn up the Spread control, and slowly turn up the Detune knob to create tonal clusters that transform into rich octaves and fifths.
Wanna make a horror soundtrack? Love late 20th century composition? The Swarm mode is there for you.
A tape algorithm that has been used and abused without proper maintenance.
We start with our Tape algorithm, and add more overdrive, low frequency drift, and chaotic high frequency flutter.
The results are warm, noisy and mysterious. Perfect for adding a tape predelay to a reverb, for sparse chaotic reverbs (turn up the Spread control), or for truly vintage tape echoes.Reverb Mode

The Tribute Archtop Model is a Handcrafted Thin-Line Hollow-Body Guitar by Tim Bram.
It was conceived as a hybrid: combining the tonal and aesthetic character of a traditional carved-top hollow-body archtop with the comfort and playability of a smaller “Thinline” / Semi-Hollow instrument.
The design departs from classic large jazz-box shapes: the “lower bout” (the width of the body’s lower half) is only about 14.5" (or 14.6" in some variants) , much narrower than many traditional archtops , giving a more compact, ergonomic feel. Each guitar is made with the finest Materials and Precision Craftsmanship.

The California II VT 4 HCA RFB by Sandberg.
The Sandberg California II VT4 HCA RFB is a modern take on the classic P/J-style bass, blending vintage vibe with high-end German craftsmanship.
It’s built from lightweight alder with a roasted maple neck, giving it a punchy, warm tone and exceptional stability.
The Hardcore Aged (HCA) finish makes each instrument look and feel like a naturally relic’d vintage bass, while the RFB treatment adds a unique, hand-aged character that’s different on every instrument.
What makes this bass special is its combination of classic simplicity and modern versatility.
The Sandberg Black Label P/J pickups deliver both the familiar thump of a Precision and the growl of a Jazz bridge pickup, and the active/passive preamp lets you switch between vintage warmth and modern clarity at the push of a button.
The build quality is extremely precise, the hardware is lightweight, and the bass plays effortlessly right out of the box.
