Description
P90 TONE WORTH FIGHTING FOR. A huge number of guitars come equipped with standard humbuckers, but the fun doesn’t have to stop there. Using a humbucker-sized P90 can offer a wider, more open sound, and open up new musical avenues.
Powered by twin Alnico 2 bar magnets, and with a strong bass and crisp highs, the Rebel 90 finds the sweet spot between single coil and humbucker tonalities.
And don’t be fooled by the imitators! A number of similar pickups on the market use skinny coils and thin wire to shoehorn the right number of turns into the smaller casing. The Tonerider Rebel 90 uses vintage grade AWG42 wire wound to nearly 10,000 turns for an authentic P90 sound.
