The Godox iT20 and iT22 Make Photography Fun Again

The Godox iT22 N TTL Mini Flash for Nikon offers a playful, nostalgic experience for photographers who enjoy experimenting. Its compact, vintage-like design is perfect for casual settings and provides surprising results with creative lighting techniques. However, it's not without flaws. The flash struggles with direct lighting, producing harsh shadows, and its TR-N adapter lacks flexibility, limiting portrait orientation use. The small LCD screen is a letdown, and while rechargeable, it's clearly not meant to replace professional gear. A fun addition for light-hearted photography, but serious users may find it lacking.

Without a built-in angle adjustment or remote trigger option, creative workarounds are needed to avoid the "deer in the headlights" effect. Though it might not deliver studio-quality light, it serves well in scenarios where having some light is better than none. Ideal for those learning the ropes, this mini flash is a practical purchase for its price, but don’t expect miracles in lighting finesse.
