Description
Unlock the full potential of your mixes and masters with the Voxengo TEOTE, the automatic spectral balancer that revolutionizes how you handle sound. Available in AAX, AudioUnit, VST, and VST3 formats, this dynamic equalizer is compatible with both macOS and Windows, catering to all professional music producers who seek precision and efficiency.
TEOTE is not your typical equalizer; it is a powerhouse of multi-band dynamics processing, effectively tackling resonances, de-essing, and tilt equalizing. This results in a subtle transient-emphasis effect without introducing significant phase issues. Whether you're mixing or mastering, TEOTE seamlessly adjusts the frequency profile of your audio to align with modern mastering standards, essentially "straightening" the frequency response for a smoother, more balanced sound.
While it might sound like AI wizardry, TEOTE achieves its remarkable results through a finely-tuned, predictable curve-fitting function, delivering gain adjustments with impeccable accuracy. This intelligent processing makes redundant tasks a thing of the past, saving you time and effort while elevating your productions.
Embrace the future of audio processing with TEOTE, and experience how it makes every mix and master sound effortlessly polished and, quite literally, easier on the ear.

Voxengo TEOTE vs SoundTheory Gullfoss

Magic dust
I'm not bad at mixing, and think I separate things pretty well, but I saw a post promoting Gullfoss, and I investigated it to find out what it actually does, even if I had no intention of ever buying it. I just like to know what people are talking about when they comment on these things. This led to me watching a comparison video between Gullfoss and TEOTE ( which stands for "That's easier on the ear" ), and the biggest criticism of Gullfoss was that it adds pretty much the same smile curve to everything, regardless of whether it needs it or not, particularly in the 12k air-band, so although it's marketed as artificial intelligence, it seems to be inflexible. TEOTE does a similar thing to Gullfoss, but has a lot more control over the final result. I only had to demo it for about 10 minutes before deciding to buy it, after I bypassed it and heard how comparatively dull my mix was without TEOTE. I love that it has all kinds of ways to add the effect in parallel so you can add as little or as much as you like to the final result.
Another thing I love is that the GUI is resizable, and you can choose your own colour. I opted for black as it's so much easier on the eye, as well as it being easier on the ear ( see what I did there ).
