This pedal makes tuning a breeze. Individual tuning is perfect; strum tune is amazing. The buffer is subtle but you can tell the difference if you have many effects as I do.

So smooth, zero noise, minimum volume level makes this a boost pedal if you wish.

It has six slots, it's got remarkably decent tones. Used it for my Korg volcas, and now I am using it for my guitar. Times change, this beauty change with me. One regret is that I didn't get the model w/ a foot pedal. Might have to get a good expression pedal soon

I absolutely love how this thing works out of the box. Then you add in toneprints??! What shimmering, clear reverbs? Muddy oceanic reverbs. I kind of wish/want I had the Flashbackx4 now :-)

I owned the original Hall of Fame, and while it was in excellent condition, I went ahead and got this one - specifically because of the Shimmer effect. While the strymon does more - the shimmer effect here - when edited using the toneprint - can impress even the most scrupulous. High Quality shimmer + expression? For under 200...just get it. I used this on my korg volcas, minilog, vocal tracks, and now on my guitar. So versatile.
