Funky Light-Up Keyboard and Player Piano

As seen on the back of the Grandaddy LP "the Sophtware Slump"!

This shit has some goofy effects that I like to play with. One in particular sounds like when Mega Man dies. You know, the NES 8-bit... so I sampled that on the 2nd JSE record, the end of "Dolores" to be exact .

the original brick! apple reinvents the phone (10 years ago)

Love the voice memo function on here for emailing demos to my itunes library for later review/playback

analogue

old school. I warmed up all the tracks for the pretentious pretenses debut: The Chronicles of Na Na Na

jay_sharp

Great playability for a 12-string

this guitar is featured on the last song of the last JSE record 'the King Crawls'

Great strat. Amazing tone.

An improvement on an already amazing instrument.

in what way? more reviewing please, sir

It's 74 lbs with the glass swivel/stand...

So it's not really "portable" but it's been moved from rehearsal space to studio to studio and it's always recorded drums flawlessly. I believe this is the 2003 model.

Garageband

1/8th of an inch line-in.

That's all you need.

This is the sound of Elijah Should

Reckon it's from 86 or so it seems from the manuals. Natalia gifted it to me. I am indebted. I've used this EXTENSIVELY (or even sometimes exclusively) on all the E.S. LPs here: https://elijahshould.bandcamp.com/

I am pretty sure I had one of these as a kid

People still can't believe I recorded "Stillwell Avenue" and "the Stupid Me" in a basement in Queens

Shit sounds great. Most recently used on the Barfs records in Woodstock 2013. Needs a powered mixer or phantom power. (Which is why Mike + I bought the Yamaha)

LOVE THIS

its great for the volume expression and the wah effects simultaneously!!

Can trigger anything from my AX212 amp as well.

jay_sharp

Because Tony used to use one...

I used to have epic jam sessions in a basement in astoria. See "playlist" on my bandcamp for some of those sessions.

jay_sharp

The most amazing amp in the world

It can cook you breakfast. Trent used it on the broken ep. That was good enough for me. Paid 700 bucks to get it shipped from TX. Christian band dude sent his cd too! the Southern Cross.

Feel like this is my secret weapon

Syracuse, up all night... changed my life...

Feel like I'm stuck with this beauty

Mine is silvery and glittery. I used sparkle nail-polish on the tuners. My first axe. I named her Diana, the Heavy Metal Machine.

jay_sharp

Feel like I'm never gonna outgrow this one

Someone in a bad band I was in once told me that Strats were like toys and anyone could kinda make them sound good and stretch some style into one. Fuck all that.

Feel like I'm going to Hell

I used to covet Jareds, then I coveted JMs, then I had my own, but it never worked right, it was from someone who died... suicide, really... and I may or may not still have it in my possession. It may actually be in Rio De Janeiro ... possibly

jay_sharp

Feel like I'm gonna fall down

Is this a guitar or a bag of bricks? It's too heavy for me. Seriously. I do love the tone on it, and it's got some sweet play-a-bility, but on a stool, please.

I had one, not nearly as heavy as either LP I've owned... it was even a bit lighter than my 335... maybe it depends what year you have

jay_sharp

Feels like I'm gonna break it

My godly grinding hands shred and this dainty baby is too delicate to take out to play anymore.

I'll take her off your hands if you want, I've never owned a ric!
