Great for on the fly looping during my live sets, and it allows time to que up other sounds on the my mixer from other sources. It's light weight and easy to carry in my travel bag.
I have been an Ableton Live user since version one and I haven't looked back since. I use it for all my live performances, music productions, sound design, live sound art installations and remixes. The great thing about Ableton live is the clip mode, I am able to record on the fly and it has open up all types of possibilities.
I can't live without my sound card. I use it for pretty much everything, recoding live instruments and vocals. I have to say its been the best investment and the sound quality is amazing. The advantage of having complete control of your entire volume from a top controller knob is essential. A must have for anyone looking for solid card. Native Instruments nailed it.
Best simple piece of gear that doesn't require power. I love the mono and dim buttons.
Great piece gear, took me a minute to get use to pushing buttons, not getting lost in the sauce but I recommend sticking to the number 8 and Push 2 is your friend.
I am not smooth on programming or in love with OSC. Still room for learning, I've enjoyed using it with with various MLR applications for my live performance sets and when ever I want to get something going.
El cajon is probably one of the best percussion instruments I love to play - opens up to quick rhythmic ideas - I have a internal microphone hook up for best contain recordings
Always in my bag of tricks to get some live elements in my tracks
Raw TR606 drum sounds, use this in conjunction with other instruments
I was a fast learner to really hate this device, bad loose display connections and the app was a crash disaster - sat in my studio collecting dust
Did the job for me in my studio. I needed something inexpensive that a good sound for my room.
I love these speakers for mixing and sound design projects. I can't express how awesome they sound. I am aware there other companies but for the price. You can't beat it.
I love these head phones, I use them for editing and mixing soundscapes

they broke!
I was never a huge fan of Protools but I discovered Reaper through a sound design podcast. I was hooked on how fast it handled audio files. A must have for anyone interested in editing and mixing sound.
Took me while to get the hang of it but the rewards are incredible once you get over the wall.
The iPad Air 2 has been my work horse in my studio, my cafe coffee runs but more especially in my sound design activities. I use it during my live sets running Field Scape, and various sound apps. A MUST HAVE!!!!
The beat step is one piece of gear I love using along with my iPad and Ableton Live. If I need a quick step or a need to control certain parameters in my set. A must have but would prefer the beat step pro for modular setup.
I really love this keyboard in my setup, small enough to fit into a bag and powerful enough to perform. A must have if you're looking for something small. It's even compatible with my iPad via the photo usb.
I love this machine and it offers so much in one package. The learning curve is a bit but once you get it. Its a done deal. A must have in your studio setup. What I love about it is the plug ins, instruments, and the sampling capabilities. The pads are responsive and you get a lot for your money.
This keyboard is a nice addition to my collection. Don't let the small size fool you. A must have as you can make your own sounds and add them to your tunes.
