If Batman had a guitar

I have a '68 Historic. It weights 15 lb and has a neck like a telephone pole and for some reason, I play it better than most other guitars in my arsenal. It just slays. This guitar comes with me on most gigs I do.

Solid Rock Amp

The Rocker 30 is a damn good sounding amp for the money. They were made in England which is cool. The controls are simple it it looks like a million bucks. The clean sound isn't anything to call your mom about but the dirty channel can pump out some really nice, chimey, sparkly clean sounds with just a twinge of breakup all the way up to some pretty rockin' distorted tones. I wouldn't call it metal but it's doesn't claim to be.

Great purchase, relatively high reliability (I had to have a couple resistors re-soldered after they cam loose and started making some racket of their own, but the amp got me through the gig), it's a shame they don't make this model anymore.

Fire Breather

It is what it is, a monster of an amp with tons and tons of gain on tap. Plug in, crank it up, it's fantastic. I would like a better clean sound and I hear the newer ones deliver that somewhat but my old one from the late 90's doesn't.

Otherwise, it's heavy as hell, very quiet when you're not playing and very very reliable. I'm glad I bought one when I was a kid and was smart enough to hold onto it in the following decade and a half.

What can you say?

It's iconic, time tested, tough, playable and it sounds great. Strats are Strats and they're great.
