Fine for the money.
For a $500 amp I can’t complain. It’s loud enough for shows and practice.
I think the distortion on this amp is just okay. Same thing with the prebuilt effects. I haven’t gotten any sounds out of the amp that I couldn’t do better with the right pedal.
All that being said, the clean channel is solid. Love just turning the sucker on and letting my pedals do the heavy lifting. All it’s gotta do is scream.

Beastly
Not much to say here.
Plays smooth. Sounds amazing. Beautiful finish. Killswitch.
The only pain I’ve ran into is how often I have to change the batteries for the active pickups. Aside from that, best 2 grand I’ve ever spent.

Insane.
Forget your amps distortion. This little amp in a box will turn your clean channel into death and destruction with one click.
The knobs are extremely responsive, the tone is excellent, and the pedal is simple and easy to use.
Not saying this is the only distortion pedal I’ll ever use, but this pedal has spoiled me. I’ll be extremely picky next time I’m shopping for some dirt & grime.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
Red setting all the way. I have extremely hot pickups so I like to keep the gain knob down and let the guitar do the work there.

Fun to play with.
This is an extremely unique and fun pedal. I’d give it a 5, but the truth is not everyone sound you’ll make with this pedal is “usable” per say.
That doesn’t take away from the cool factor, but I doubt I’d ever use this pedal for more than 2 or 3 songs a set. Solid pedal, extremely fun, just not the most versatile in my opinion.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
Reverse is super fun to play with especially if you have a volume pedal, you can create some seriously gnarly swells.
