Small on hand, BIG ON STAGE

It sounds REALLY big on stage. Thanks to the built-in Fishman Sonitone Pickups. I love how the volume and tone control hides just underneath the soundhole. The Solid Spruce Top on this beast helps it sound better when it's unplugged. Though small due to its 3/4 size, it still projects great resonance. Overall, great sounding guitar.

Uncolored tone

Your voice won't sound bass-y if it is not. AND THAT IS GOOD! (we roll it off anyway hahaha!)

I love how it came with a wooden box, a custom shockmount, a pop filter, and a little manual to help you kickstart your recording process.

The pop filter, I believe, doesn't filter the pop. :)) So I had to use a bigger one.

The shockmount is okay, but the garters are kind of tight so it still kinda connects the two parts together, which is bad of course. I had to use a separate shock mount.

but the mic alone is great. I plug it into my focusrite scarlett solo and it sounds awesome at 1 o'clock gain.

Travel Friendly

For Home Recording:

I plug my XLR Condenser Mic and Acoustic Guitar here and the preamp is great. The light indicators help me check if I am peaking or not. the Direct Monitoring function is really helpful. sadly, there's only one knob for Monitor and Audio Volume.

For Live:

I use MobiusLooper by Circular Labs hosted in FL Studio, and to plug my guitar and loop mic, I use this little baby. It sounds awesome in live. My guitar sounds uncolored. :)

OVERALL:

I highly recommend this for musicians who wanna start home recording but want to test the waters first. :)

One Track Looper that Does The Job

I Bought this because I love Ed Sheeran (but he uses RC20XL before, not RC20). got it for about $152.

Pedal Feel

It's amazing how this pedal feels. When you step on it for the second time to set the end of the loop, the loop starts just where you want it to, unlike other loopers that feels like there's a little bit of delay.

No Undo

One thing that I kinda dislike about this is that there's no undo function. You really have to practice to perform your piece perfect.

Mic Input

Unfortunately, the mic input is not XLR but a TS jack., so I had to buy one.

Sound Quality

You can hear that there's a not so noticeable compression.

Happy Sounding

Build and Sound

The body is made out of Nato and is on matte finish, though small, it sounds louder than other ukuleles because the body is thicker. It also sounds very bright, even after a year without changing the strings.

No Gig Bag

I would have rated this a 5 star, if only they have a gig bag for free.

Price

Bought it for about P2,700 (about $60) and I can say that it is a fair price.

Feel

The Action, though not so noticeable, is higher than the usual concert ukuleles.

Bought it for P7,990 (approx. $177.56) and I can say that it is worth it.

Sound vs Size It has a 23" scale and I AM SURPRISED on how big it sounds. Maybe it is because of the X Bracing or the Spruce Top, or because the body is as thick as a normal 3/4 guitar would. When you pluck the strings, you can really hear the wood vibrating, unlike other guitars that feels like plastic.

Action and Intonation

Being a small guitar, it has soft strings, but the default action is kind of high, that's why when you play it beyond the 7th fret, it sounds a little (almost not noticeable unless you have a clip tuner on) out of intonation. It has a truss rod though so you can still fix the action (or use sand paper on the bridge)

Strap button

It only has one strap button on the bottom that's why you have to use a strap that has a shoe-lace-looking-thing on the other end.

FREE GIG BAG!

The Gig bag fits perfectly on the Samick Greg Bennett TT65. It is fully padded and has a backpack type strap and a handle for traveling purposes. It also has a pocket where I can fit my lyrics and chord sheets as well as my other stuff. They embroidered the Samick Logo (The cool circle with S) on the pocket, and it looks cool because it is Gold and the bag is black :)

Coating

Personally i'd be happier if it is in matte finish, but then again I think the Gloss coating adds up to the tone of this guitar that's why it's ok :)

OVERALL

This is a great guitar for all the travelers who wish to have a guitar with them during camps, etc, but doesn't want to spend much.
