good for octave and weird whammy effects

I like to use it to Radiohead things up with digital effects thrown in with analog delay and such, but i'm an analog guy so I don't use this all the time, i use it very rarely but it does have a super cool octave sound and other cool effects i like to use if i need to expand my pallet for a project

out of this world and cheap

this is one of the coolest octave pedals i've ever heard. literally this thing is the fuzziest, most out of control fuzz pedal i've ever owned. you cannot completely control this thing and that's one very cool component to it. it's perfect for insane leads and heavy, thick pulsating fuzz.

the greatest "for cheap" Flanger sound out there

this was the first pedal I ever bought and i couldn't figure out how to hook it in for 6 months. I was a newb, okay! hahah then once i figured out how, it blew my mind. This has a fantastic sound. The jet sweep on this is the greatest tone it has, although it's also a good clone for an Electric Mistress as it has an out of control swirl to it. It also contains one of the weirdest, most vibey vibrative qualities to it. It's definitely worth getting as an experiment pedal, or if you're a big fan of Flanger you MUST get this to go with the other Flanger sounds you've got, as I'm sure you don't have this sound. Danelectro pedals aren't always good, or worth buying, but this one among a few others are absolutely worth it.

This Limited Edition Pearl White Crybaby wah wah is the most versatile, perfected wah wah pedal of all time

This thing came out in 2011, my amazing girlfriend purchased it for me since she knew I always wanted a white Crybaby and had no pedals at the time (she helped me rebuild my pedalboard after ALL 20 vintage and expensive pedals of mine had been stolen a year and a half previous). It contains different ways to adjust the tone of the wah and the sweep, but i've found a setting on there that makes it as throaty as Kirk Hammett, as expressive as Slash's, as flat and funky as something from a Sly Stone record and has a boost to it that is impervious. If you can find one of these BUY IT..AT ALL COSTS...it's not just a typical GCB-95. No way. I've got one right now but it needs a new switch or the teeth keep getting off the roller track and it's been extremely frustrating not to be able to use it for the last three years. But have I replaced it? NO. Because it's THAT good.

If anyone can help me fix this thing It would be beyond appreciated. When kicked on all it will do is use the high frequency boost to the signal WITHOUT the WAH WAH sound. Also the black teeth seem to not roll on the roller.

I had it for 6 years without any trouble before that happened and i know it was more from a friend stomping on it and the pedal sliding off my board when he did it (my board was made out of floorboards from the old Salt Palace that had just been torn down, my brother bought the court).

you have to take the Z28 mod out and that can age your pedal by years

I hated the 90s, early 2000s Nu-metal sounds of this phaser once I had it (i was replacing my MXR EVH Phase 90 which i absolutely fell in love with (i'm more of a subtle phaser guy, but i use phaser on nearly everything). I hated the sound. So i researched it and found that removing the Z28 component would alter the sound back to the subtle tones i craved. IT DID AND WAS A TRULY UNIQUE AND INSPIRING PHASE TONE IN AND OF ITSELF. It was a special sound.

But after 6 years, the tone has now gone haywire and I can barely get the thing to phase at all. What we're left with is a slightly modulating boost pedal that sounds truly unique but when you WANT A PHASER YOU NEED A PHASER....

don't get this one. if you want a Phaser, built to last, get the MXR EVH Phase 90. If mine hadn't been stolen, I would've never stopped using it. Or get the Script version, but the sound on this is half-assed from MXR.

you can access anything from early Binson echorec type Pink Floyd leads to tape delay scratches from Bela Lugosi's Dead, to the otherworldly shimmer and flutter of early U2, to the outrageous Roland Space Machine type sounds (it sounds identical to the delay tones of Lindsay Buckingham in the 70s when set at a certain setting i will not disclose), and it also features the best modulation i've ever heard. People wanna say it's dark? Well sorry if you want clean and crisp and perfect go get a digital and fake it. But if you want the real deal, learn how to use this and take the time. Your playing will be better than anyone around if you can master this thing. I've owned it since 2011 and it's been my most durable pedal.

It's an unreal chorus that is best sounding when used on distorted or fuzzy tones, at least for me. You can nail that Alex Lifeson post 1977 Rush sound from Hemispheres and Motion Pictures here. You can also nail the Electric Mistress sound from the Pink Floyd records (the sound of the Mistress on those Wall and Animals records was much more confined and not so swirly and out of control sounding, it would give a truly dated sounding 80s Flanger sound if used stupidly, which Gilmour DID do live a bunch of occasions). But this pedal nails those sounds from the actual records, the refined, yet glowing 3-dimensional sounds. So good for a Leslie Speaker too, it can literally rip off the sound of Paul McCartney and Wings' weird song Loup 1st Indian on the Moon which has an ahead of its time delapidated chorus tone. I doubt ill ever get another chorus ever. I've had it since 2012 and it's lasted me without a single issue. Although it must be said, get an ISPOT battery chain so you can use one of those adapters to the 9volt slot, otherwise you'll be stuck having to use batteries.

Dirty? Yes. Fuzzy? Can be. Distortion? Yes. Sustain? Insane!!

one of the best dirt pedals ever. not quite a fuzz, not quite an overdrive, not quite a distortion, but more of a mix of all of that in one with some outrageous sustain. Simply, I've got a ton of people listening to me play and wondering how im getting that really intense and then really gentle distorted sound that can get extremely fuzzy too. And when I say it's from the same pedal it blows people's minds. So glad I grabbed one of these back in the mid 2000s when they were 50 bucks and considered a cheaper, shittier version of the Big Muff. My my my how they were wrong.
