Thank you for the quick fix! I've updated the product details etc.

Was attempting to add the new small box Diamond Phase pedal from its corresponding Reverb link when I received an error stating "Image could not download file: 500 'Internal Server Error'". There's no option to bypass and/or add images from other sources, it just prevents the item from being added.

Thanks Michael! I just tried again. I searched the name Mark Webber, selected the appropriate option from the list that referred to the UK Pulp guitarist. Populated a couple bits of information like his Instagram account but then when it comes time to submit I still got the “Artist name is already in use or unavailable” error.

I will also add that, one obvious work around would be to add their middle names (Andrew for the UK Mark Webber, Allen for the US Mark Webber) but my proposed edits to the way their names appear on Music Brainz are awaiting peer review in their queue.

I’m also not sure whether a change to the existing US Mark Webber would automatically apply the name change to Equipboard’s entry. There is no option to add a middle name or modify the name on Equipboard directly

I was going to add Pulp guitarist Mark Webber from the UK, who has played with the group since 1995) but ran into a stumbling block when another guitarist of the same name from the US who is in a band with actor Michael Cera prevented me from doing so. Even though there are separate Music Brainz entries for both to select from, when it comes time to add the Pulp guitarist, I get an error message: “Artist name is already in use or unavailable. [email protected] if you need help.“

I was submitting some gear to Peter Doherty -- surprised that there were only a few items -- only to discover that there was also a Pete Doherty no R artist with more gear already added, including some of the items I was adding to Peter. Can these be merged? I tried to create an entry through the duplicate submission but it rejected it because it was not an instrument/item.

A few comments/questions about the redesign. I know this is a labor of love, and I really enjoy using this site, so don’t read this too critically. But it seems like some functionality has dropped off.

I mentioned one example in the thread about the new Artist pages: you can no longer sort by date added. I periodically check people I follow to see if there’s anything new. No there’s now way to see, for example, if someone added a new pedal to Johnny Marr without going through all the pedals.

Another example, at some point it seems like you create lists beyond the default ‘my gear’ and ‘wishlist’ but that’s no longer the case? Compare my user page to user lyric_kayden.

There are also areas where I think you used to be able to write in an option beyond pre-populated options, like what genre of music you play. My profile still has alternative rock and indie rock, for example, but you couldn’t choose or add those options now, and I can’t add any new options beyond the pre-populated selection boxes.

Is there no longer a way to sort gear by date added? I like the way the new category filters are displayed (guitars, amps, effects, etc.) but I periodically check artists I follow to see what’s new. I don’t want to, for example, have to sift through every pedal Johnny Marr has used to see if there’s anything recently added.
