Peter Doherty's Gear
Pete claims this Epiphone Coronet was made in 1957 in New York but from what I’ve seen, people who know about Coronets are more inclined to think this one was from 1963. Either way, quite a rare guitar.
Throughout this video of The Libertines performing in 2003 Pete plays a Epiphone Casino through a Vox AC30
During the Babyshambles performance at Reading 2008, Peter Doherty can be seen using a Boss TU-3 Chromatic Tuner, particularly noticeable during the song "Delivery."

This Getty Images photo of Peter Doherty performing on April 18, 2023 in Glasgow, Scotland clearly shows a sunburst Gibson J-45. Doherty also noted in a 2024 interview with Music Radar:
“The Coronet is my live guitar, but if I’m writing, I’ll generally grab an acoustic. We’ve got a couple of old Yamaha [sic] J-50s and J-45s. Just me, a comfy chair, the guitar, a carton of cigarettes and my notebook. When I’m writing, I keep the technology to a minimum."
