I make most of my sound design on this VST. It gives a sound that I am not able to replicate in other soft synths

Better than M50x

Personally, I think the m50x is overrated. I've tried both side by side and actually prefer the m40. The m50 has a slightly higher end. Since these are primarily used for recording, that probably makes it sound better the recording artist. They sound too excited to me.

I prefer the flatter response of these headphones. Moreover, I just needed some decent closed back for recording. These are cheaper and sound better to me.

Great soundscape

Very accurate for mixing, makes casual music listening enjoyable.

Sturdy and Decent

Pop this XLR verision of this baby into a preamp and it sounds pretty smooth for a ~100 dollar mic

Very good on male vocals

That said, it can be fairly hard to mix in without a preamp- and obviously the usb version can't connect to one.

Get the XLR version

Terrible, breaks after less than a year

Although they produced a decent flat reproduction of sound (what I was hoping for), the main speaker simply stopped after moderate use.

Better than my old Alesis

Provides decent flat reproduction but the bass is wonky. After awhile it gives a distorted sound.

Especially colouring and labeling options

The mixed is better and has fairly capable multi-monitor support.

Barely use

Works fine, but I barely use it. Have to hit pretty hard to get samples to go off

Obviously isn't like a real keyboard, but it fits nice on a desk and is extremely portable

Write most stuff with this. Easy to give velocity to any simple melody
