Unique and advanced for an affordable price
This unit is great for its price, I think that it just beats every competitor on its range just for offering built in tap tempo on it, which by that only makes it already a more advanced tool than most traditional tremolo pedals with just a knob to set the speed or maybe one ore or to more to adjust the depth and shape. And speaking of "traditional", yes, the TRS-4 has a wide speed range but keeping itself into classic territories (lets say: no fast ring-like modulation a la EHX Pulsar, for instance) while it's supposed to achieve its sound through analog FET/LDR operation –with a very transparent response (no tone shift/coloration). Dedalo tends to offer even more and in this case we get both a symmetry knob to control the LFO's relation between crease/decrease length and a "pulse" mode which it's a very peculiar one but I would surely trade off for some other features that I miss: it would be nice to have a note division option for the tap tempo, and/or also the option to have an input for external tap tempo or expression pedal, but then I remind that this all are pluses that goes far beyond any other option on its range and just keep thinking about the great progress these dudes from Argentina made with its products which will surely keep on us wanting for even more when comparing to competitors on their range.

Best option out there for modeling tone and overall cut/boost of the signal for a few bucks
This oldie offers a range of cut/boost of 18 dB –Boss GE-7 offers just 15, and MXR Ten Band EQ offers just 12. The 15 dB range is enough (or even more than that!) for most of us, but then this unit got its advantage not by this quantifiable fact but for a matter of quality by offering a very quiet response that puts the usual –and usually more expensive– "let's grab the Boss one 'cos I know that brand" choice into shame while doesn't even need an awkward 18V supply like the MXR 10 Band EQ to achieve it.
