Excellent, more affordable option for that distinctive Alembic bass sound
Great medium-scale active bass with the distinctive, signature Alembic sound. Craftsmanship is exemplary. Range of tones is broad, making these basses great for a traditional bass part in a supportive role or to be used as a lead or solo instrument.

Wonderful diamond in the rough
My favorite of the JB family of instruments. Mine is BTO Fullerton model with a wonderful dark rosewood neck that is really easy to play. Low end cuts through the mix and the highs sizzle when needed.

Beautiful
Beautiful, broad range of tones, clear, expressive highs and forceful, thundering lows, when desired. Short scale neck is very easy to play. Only negative is that the bass is a bit heavy (almost 10 pounds).
