Description
Unleash the power of vintage elegance fused with modern precision with the G&L JB 1. This electric bass is a testament to G&L's commitment to innovation and quality, designed for bassists who crave both style and substance. Its offset-waist alder body not only provides a striking silhouette but also ensures comfortable playability, making it a favorite among rock, funk, and fusion musicians. The bolt-on hard-rock maple neck paired with a Caribbean rosewood fingerboard offers a smooth, fast playing experience that bassists will appreciate during those high-energy performances.
At its heart, the G&L JB 1 boasts the vintage alnico Jazz single-coil pickups, expertly designed by G&L's Vice President of Engineering, Paul Gagon. With per-pickup volume controls and a master tone control, you have the flexibility to sculpt your sound to perfection.
The Leo Fender-designed Saddle Lock bridge enhances the sustain and resonance, ensuring that every note you play is full-bodied and vibrant. Wonderful diamond in the rough
My favorite of the JB family of instruments. Mine is BTO Fullerton model with a wonderful dark rosewood neck that is really easy to play. Low end cuts through the mix and the highs sizzle when needed.

The Jazz Bass Fender should be making
I have a custom built model that has the most amazing and playable neck. So well built with loads of attention to detail. This is the Jazz bass that Fender should be making and G&L should be a much bigger and more recognised brand!
