This thing is a tank.
Amazing sound and packed with features. The built in sub-octave effect is excellent, the overdrive is great, the limiter does what it's supposed to and this thing gets LOUD. Great amp, weighs a ton, sounds super.
Okay, it would've been 4 stars,
But putting a Mastery Bridge on this made it sound and play incredible. This thing needs the Mastery Bridge, Troy even uses it on his own Jazzmaster.

And it still works as well as it did on day one. Boss, your stuff is unbeatable.

I got it for free, so I can't complain about the price. It sounds great, has wonderful dynamic response. All around awesome overdrive.
Solid tuner,
A little hard to read on bright stages and outdoor gigs. I've heard the newer models have a brighter, easier to read screen, but this is the one I have. I'm not getting rid of it or rushing to replace it, so that says something, I guess.
Best five bucks I ever spent.
I bought one of these years ago and it was just about destroyed when I got it. After some luthier work (okay, I didn't spend five bucks on this in the end) it plays and sounds incredible.
This thing sounds amazing.
Maybe the tremolo isn't for everyone, but this bass has a unique and thumpy sound. It's better with flats and with a Staytrem bridge than with the stock Fender bridge, but it can be modded into a real beast.
What could be more classic?
What could be more classic than flatwounds on a P-Bass through an Ampeg? All the thump an fundamental to make your band sound better, and isn't that why we play the bass in the first place?
