It is fully "programmable" and offers a very wide variety of sounds if you know what you're doing with it.

It is not very much money for something as good as it is. The gain is good enough on it that with direct monitor and no modeler open if its at max it sounds like distortion and doesn't take much when in an amp modeling software to sound good. I have had other sound interfaces right around the same price point and slightly more expensive and this one takes the cake on how good it is.
