Line 6 Spider V 30 Review — Mark Starlin

markstarlin.com

The Line 6 Spider V 30 offers a wealth of features, boasting 78 amp models and 101 effects, making it an appealing choice for practice and teaching. The user-friendly layout and remote app enhance its functionality, while the construction feels solid for a budget amp. However, initial presets can be underwhelming, often sounding muffled or boxy until adjusted. While it provides a range of usable tones, it falls short of the authentic experience offered by high-end tube amps. Ultimately, it’s a versatile option for beginners and casual players, but requires patience and tweaking to unlock its full potential.

An excellent amp, with lots of modeling variety!

I love this amp, I got this for Christmas 2018. I have used this amp only since I've gotten it. The modeling options are vast, and I love the fact that I could sit in front of it and make presets for hours on hours without getting bored.
