It's a D50

its a d50 in module form. only thing youre missing really is the ability to use cards.

good analogue poly from the 80s

mine's broken, thats the only way i was able to afford it. i got it working well enough for a while though, and it was very good. nothing special really, just a very normal polysynth, gets the job done. currently needs a new keypad and oscillator chip, as well as some cleaning on the potentiometers. I'll update my review when i've restored it.

best budget FM keyboard ive ever played

this thing is insanely flexible especially for what it is. absurdly easy to program and capable of a wide variety of sounds and moods. even comes with built in drums!

decent cheap VA synth

pretty standard roland virtual analogue synth. relatively flexible but i would call it mostly a pad machine, though you can get some pretty interesting leads/bass tones out of it sometimes. sounds similar to its big brother than jp-8000, but is a little less harsh, and a little more mushy. you can layer 2 sounds together for some really cool affects, though this thing sounds distinctly digital. dont get this thinking youre going to get analogue type sounds out of it, this is a very 2000s sounding synth.

very good portastudio

ive owned 2 portastudios and this one is my favourite. feels very satisfying to use and the speed control features are incredibly useful. theyre less common than the 414 it seems, and i dont think waiting for one would be worth getting a steal on another similar model. pro tip also: dont buy these online unless you absolutely have to. theyre way cheaper if you find them in second hand shops, reverb is an awful place to buy things like this price is always super inflated.

decent cheap drum machine

i got this one for 30 dollars at a pawn shop, by itself its alright but fed through overdrive or audio inputs on things like a microbrute it can become a completely different beast. would be 4 stars but i had to take one away because of how annoying it is to program. still, if you find this cheap i would get it

good cheap moog sounds, very 70s sounding

this thing sounds incredibly cheap, in the best way possible. If youre looking for that 70s/early 80s budget film score sound, this is it. incredibly fun to play
