Wonderful tool for quick song sketches
I don't think there is another DAW out there where you can get song sketches up and running as fast as with FL studio. I use the FL studio 12 Beta on Mac OSX and it's awesome! The fact that you can view all instruments in the same pattern at the same time so you can instantly see which notes go with the chord you created on another channel is awesome. It's a quick and powerful DAW. It also comes with Sytrus which is one of the best sounding FM synths I've heard. And if you also get Harmor it's a killer! Top notch additive synthesis in a heartbeat.

Instant And Endless Modulation Possibilities
Bitwig raised the bar when it comes to modulation within the Daws. Bitwig is like one big modular synthesizer that can do so much. I use it in conjunction with the Maschine Jam and it's a blast coming up with fresh and fast ideas for new compositions. Although most tutorials on you tube show it in an electronic music context. But it's very very good tool working with acoustic film scores / game scores too! Love it!

Best DAW for composing film and game music
I have all major DAWs but keep coming back to Logic Pro X for it's wonderful internal plugins and ease of use when composing for film.
Deep Bitwig Integration
This is a beast, I have used in on so many tracks that I composed for games and film the past years. It has deep and wonderful integration with both Logic Pro X and Bitwig Studio. It keeps running and Nektar Tech was very swift replying when I got a small problem with the motorized fader. They sent me a replacement board for the fader and now I'm up and running with it again. Top Support!
Great composition tool
Good keyboard feel and wonderful screens and quick editing. I have both the Nektar Panorama P6 and the Komplete Kontrol 61 mk2. Love them both!
Creative tool for all work cases.
Wonderful piece of gear and it works on so much more than just laying down hip hop beats. I use it for film score compositions, epic trailer cues, cinematic ambient pieces and funny game music cues. It's so inspirational and quick to work with. Just you and the music!
