Deep - and still relatively unexplored

Great vocoder and sampler - and a d50 - forget the tacky presets...

morten_vammen

Nice and easy - tweak able

Very good for classic and new analogish stuff....90s galore.

HUGE

Use it for the sequencer to kill screen fatigue - big nice sampler, rock solid.

Great and cheap - nice for unexpected sounds...

Classic

Used it on my first record: AUM-Morph - software is more flexible now...

NICE, but midi is slow

Nice as a solo thing, don't try to send multi channel controllers...nice pads...

Rare, and better that the Akais and Emus from the same period.

Nice screen, remote, mouse, multi filters.

Clean and classic

I connected it thru scsi to a mac and BANG: recycle on screen and export to jazz drive. I made my A*A*A: conneseurs cornucopia CD and hundreds of beats, soundtracks and jingles on this, often recording straight to dat thru the optical output. The filters and FX are ok, but a bit static. Lots of outputs, nice converters, but very clean. Never used the 2 track hd recorder, but its there.

Simple, but effective for its time.

After using the 808 to trigger DDL, using the EPS and the SP, I settled for the W30. The ability to edit sounds when the sequencer runs, and the alternate loops and the crunchy bass-heavy sound was cool. Perfect for golden age chop-shop-hiphop. I made my first album with it straight to dat argumented by 2 303s, an Sh09 with audio input for proccesing and some drum machines and fx. When I switched for a Akai/Cubase setup, my jingle clients wanted the old grit back....http://www.discogs.com/Aum-Morph/release/578409
