Honey!
I've got an handmade replique of this fantastic amp and totally love it! The sweet warm cleans and the rough, rocking overdrive are what everyone who is into blues and classic guitar sounds wants!
41034
It is also the loudest 30 to 45 watts you will ever hear through a vintage-accurate marshall cab with alnico celestion speakers or clones... but tonally, one of Marshalls handful of shining moments. They got it right first try. I always much preferred the JTM45 to the superleads I used to favor...
Great Guitar
I just got this guitar in a worn condition - I actually don't know if it's just worn or if someone aged it (and I don't care too much about it since it looks really great!) - with a white Pickguard. The whole thing looks stunning and has a classic beauty to it. Furthermore the guitar is uber-flexible since you can almost use ist like a strat with the third pickup and the five-way selector. It sounds beautiful but works really well with oberdrives, too! It plays fantastic, you just won't stop playing. And at least I have to say that this thing is an absolute work-horse. I guess that I even could smash a car or something with this guitar without having it untuned afterwards - the tuning stability is stunning! I use this Guitar to play in a Stoner Rock Band and it does unbelieveably well. I really bought it to have something to funk arround with in a side project - but since the guitar just fits to my playing across all genres and styles I just stopped using different guitars and stick to this one! So: If you want a bit more than the typical tele-flavour: Get this one!
Big overdrive sound
This pedal is absolutely awesome! You can turn the knobs wherever you want to without getting a 'bad sound' out of it. The overdrive sounds very organic, fat and yet transparent. It works well with almost every amp and can be fine-tuned to sound like the Gain Channel of almost every amp. Very flexible, works well with your volume-knob and just sounds like it should: Like a beautiful, solid and fat medium-gain-overdrive. The second gain stage is what makes this pedal even more flexible since it only adds more gain (as much as you want - choose it with the + knob) while all other adjustments stay the same. All in all the best overdrive I have heard and played in my life!
Best sounding pedal for all modulation stuff
Let's get this straight: Your pedalboard will get way too big if you use all the possibilities you will get with the mobius. The mobius sounds absolutely killer without any loss of signal - which you would have to deal with if you use analog pedals instead of this one. In addition the mobius is not as big nor heavy as you might think, it's well built und set up logically. You'll have hours of fun with it!
