First guitar, does everything I need it to. HSS gives a range of sounds and the whammy bar is loads of fun. It's pretty comfortable in the lap too, with the belly cut, arm cut, and offset shape. I didn't have any finish or quality issues, the frets were all properly smooth, and the neck was secured well. As for downsides, the music jack nut kept coming loose. I had to unscrew the jackplate and tighten it from both sides. The guitar can tend to go out of tune when bending aggressively, although the trem is surprisingly stable. I haven't lubed the nut or anything though. This thing sat under my bed for a couple years when I didn't play guitar for a while, and it felt just as good when I picked it back up out of there.
