Good Entry Level Amp

This was my first amp, and it has held up pretty well. I think it sounds a lot better than other modeling amps like the Line6 Spider series. It has multiple presets that you can overwrite with ones you make yourself or download from the website for the Fender mustang amps. I believe the presets are a Fender Custom Deluxe, Fender Twin Reverb, Fender Bassman, British 60s, British 80s, American 90s, Super Sonic, and Metal 00s. All of these sound like their names, and if you know nothing about amps the presets are very helpful. There are also various effects like reverb, chorus, delay, and even some very peculiar ones like auto-wah or synthesizer noises. The amp itself is 20 watts and gets loud enough for small shows. It has a USB cable so you can use it as an audio interface and a headphone and aux cord jacks. For a first amp or practice amp, you can't go wrong with this one.

Preferred Settings + Usage:

Fat Strings

You will need these if you intend to play drop C or lower. They are very fat and will not rattle in low tunings. If you can bend well on these you can bend on anything. They also sound fine in standard tuning.

Must have pedal

This was my first pedal. Very solid construction, does what you want it to and nothing else. You will really have to stomp on it to turn it on/off. If you are going to buy just one pedal in your lifetime, buy this one, the wah will change your life.

Good combo

I like this string setup as it is thin enough on the high strings to hit crazy bends, but thick enough to sound good on the low strings if you want to tune to drop D, or even drop C#.

Cool looking guitar

This was my first acoustic guitar, and I am pretty happy with it. It sounds great, especially at the price point and I would not hesitate to use it for a show. I did not use the electronics on it much, but I think they sounded ok. The quality is definitely higher than what you pay for, and it has a cool, unique look with the wood, and this seems to be something Luna does with their guitars regularly. The fret inlays are the phases of the moon, and it is pretty rare to get details like that on a guitar this cheap. I would take this over a Fender or Ibanez acoustic at a similar price point.

Solid guitar

This was my first "real" guitar, and one of my dream guitars when I was a kid. I managed to get this one for around $280 after taxes in 2019. It has Duncan Designed HB102 pickups which I believe are a Seymour Duncan JB clone that sound sort of similar, you may even like them more. The guitar also has 2 separate volume knobs, which I liked a lot as I could switch pickups for a clean or dirty tone. The pickups sound great clean or dirty, have a coil tap, and work for all genres really. The neck is not super thin like an Ibanez, but it is pretty thin compared to a traditional Gibson or Fender neck. The guitar stayed in tune well, even when I had it on 12-56 strings. I would say Schecter as a brand is pretty up there in terms of value, as you get a lot more than what you pay for. I still miss this guitar, and contemplate buying another Schecter all the time.

Good guitar, bad pickups

Good quality guitar, very thin neck thru design makes it easy to play. The Ibanez Edge Pro II locking tremolo works well and stays in tune, but you cannot adjust how snug the tremolo arm is without taking the whole system out. Only major issue is the Ibanez INF series pickups are very muddy with gain, even after pickup and pole piece height adjustments. If you don't intend on playing anything with high gain, it should be fine, but the target audience for this guitar is probably people who use high gain.
