My first amp was a 65' twin.
I wouldn't be found without a twin around Me somewhere. Although today the one I have is a 65' reissue but it works just as great as My first one. Maybe that is why they are on every stage in the world.... ~Pepper~

Nothing else like them
Back in the 70's and early 80's I used 2 of these. Left and Right Channels. I'd still be using Them but I have NO ROOM. Damn I hate getting Old......

Love those older Leslie's. I use to run one on each channnel on My amp set up. Left and right with the Marshall cabinets.

Wish I had the Money Gilmour has
I love these but for Me now days, it just doesn't justify having a $300.00 Tube Driver. I'm using a Boss Blues Driver running it into a Digitech Compressor into a Electric Mistress Flanger. I get almost the same Colorsound of Gilmour's 70's work. Not to mention a lot of My Own. After all, The Guitarist I really want to sound like is Pepper Roberts. ( Me )

One of the few
This 57' Gibson LP is one of the few I'd love to have on My Rack. The first thing I'd have done to it is a Bigsby. ( a Neil Young thing I pick up working with Him years ago )

Back in the Day
Back in the late 70's and most of the 80's I used 2 of the older models that were for Church Organs but converted for Guitar. Nothing like a 15' speaker and a spinning horn ( Pink Floyd, David Gilmour ) used in the late 60's and 70's. Definitely on My wish list. Maybe next year ........ ~Pepper~

The best for any Board
I've been using Peterson Strobe tuners so long now, not sure I could use anything else. Also have the Clip-on Peterson for My Martin and My 12 string Washburn. ~Pepper~

If'n Their good enough for Gilmour !!!!!
I've Play through one when I was at the Studio in Calif. I was really surprised by just how Clean a sound Ya get. A lot of People don't know the difference between loudness and Volume. These Hiwatt 100 watt tube Heads are by far INCREDIBLE !!!!!!!! Of course They also come with a Hefty price tag as well. Well ..... wanting to drive a BMW but only have a City Bus Budget. LoL ~Pepper~

No Professional Guitarist goes anywhere without One
Hoping to fix this little dilemma this year. Basicly, I'm very tried of a Gibson Les Paul. Don't get Me wrong, LP's are Outstanding Guitars but They weigh a TON. Then add a Bigsby !!!!!! After I replace the whole in My rack with another Tele, I want a Gibson Les Paul with P-90's and a Bigsby. Now that Ladies and Gentlemen is a Gibson Les Paul ( about a 55' or 56' modal )

Would Love to have this Exact One on My Rack
I have a 2009 Fender Strat that I've setup almost like this one. On Mine , I have what is call the DG - 20 which is 3 active '79 EMG pickups, The tone pods are switched out and a EXP and SPC take their place. This gives the Guitar a power boost and also splits a single coil to give it a bit of that warmth of a Humbucker. I've also replaced the tone block with a Callum 60/40 cold rolled steel tone block which adds some AWESOME clean, clear sustain. Also on the head, Schaller locking tuners and strap locks. This Guitar of Mine is as close to having that Gilmour tone that I have found. Now it's pretty easy to say, next to My Wife, My Dachshund, My Strat is the LOVE of My Life. ~Pepper~

I have read the history behind this Guitar by not only David Gilmour but His Tech that basically built it. After building a few Myself ( in My opinion ) there are only 3 different ways of building a Fender ( USA ) Strat. ( 1 ) Eric Clapton, ( 2 ) David Gilmour, and last but nowhere near least ( 3 ) Buddy Guy. If'n You had these 3 Fender Strat's and a Merle Haggard Fender Tele with another Tele with a Bigsby, You are ready ( Equipment wise ). Sure I like Gibson Les Pauls just fine but after playing them HEAVY ass Guitars, You too will be looking for something a little lighter. I played a '70 LP Custom 1978 till 2001. Had to retire that one. ~Pepper~

Love the Old Stuff
I know most People I Play with kid Me about a lot of the Equipment I use and or own.I've been playing Guitar 51 years now and I really love and appreciate all that old stuff We had to work with. I feel it made Me a better Guitarist 'cause I had to really WORK at finding new sounds and making them work within a song. Just so much more fun. Even today on My right channel, I use a '65 Twin Reverb and on the left is a '71 50 watt tube Bassman head running through 4 X 12 Celestion in the cabinet.I have a really sweet balance between the two Amps. ~Pepper~

It's like owning a key to another place & time
Although I'm mainly a Blues Guitarist, I'm a very big fan of David Gilmour. When I started learning one of His song " The Blue " the Whammy-1 is a necessity. Being a writer and Music arranger, the Whammy-1 has open all kind of doors for Me. Even if You're not into David Gilmour and Pink Floyd I still would suggest the investment. ~Pepper~
