A gift from her brother Bill, as stated in the introduction of this early performance of "The Muse" released November 22, 2015. The pick guard has been removed.

Visible in this May 21, 2018 photo, this November 5, 2019 Facebook post and this August 18, 2017 photo from Stevens' performance at L'Olympia in Paris, among others. The guitar is nicknamed Xerxes; a white sticker with the name in black lettering has been placed over the headstock logo. It seems that the pickguard was changed, as it can be seen with a white one instead of a red one in this November 6, 2017 Instagram post.

Loaned to Stevens by Gibson and used during the composition of David Crosby's Here If You Listen, as stated in this September 26, 2017 Facebook post by Stevens.

She’s a cruel mistress but I love her. Playing this fanned fret @wes_lambe 7-string is my favorite part of the Crosby #lighthouseband set. I still can’t believe she’s mine. Sometimes I think she’ll never truly be...

I recorded everything live on two Lauten Audio @lautenaudio microphones on a @taylorguitars 812ce with @thomastikinfeld flat wound acoustic strings. I eventually upgraded to a @uaudio Apollo interface but otherwise the set up stayed the same as what is pictured.
