“When I was living in Woodland Hills, California, I was shopping at Norman’s Rare Guitars in Tarzana and saw a 1968 Goldtop I really liked,” Bryant recounts. “They cut me a good deal on it so I took it home. I was living in a house where the studio [Guns ‘N Roses’] Chinese Democracy was recorded, so when I got the guitar home I plugged it in and put it on a stand and decided to go to the coffee shop across the street for bite. When I got back, the cable was trailing out the open door and the guitar was gone.”
