"My headphones smell like coconut oil, frankincense, and grapefruit. #asylumaudiobook In other news, this is the last audiobook I will ever edit. Never again."
In an interview for MyMac, Emilie states that she uses a Zeta Strados violin:
My Mac: Besides playing the electric fiddle, what other instruments do you play?
EA: I play three types of violin at present, the electric (a Zeta Strados Series), a classical Gand & Bernadel from 1885, and a beautiful baroque violin and bow.

Inky explains that Cubase allows them to use the Lynx Aurora 16 audio converter in the studio, whereas Protools does not. He mentions it at 3:06 in this interview with Emilie.
"I've been using Steinberg's Cubase exclusively to record and mix my music since the very beginning of my career. It's no exaggeration to say that Cubase has been my partner in bringing my music and message to the world, and, now, they are helping to bring my story to the world as well, as I record the audiobook of my novel." - Emilie Autumn
