After bassist Jacob Bloom left the band, and before Seth Dalby joined, Ethan Ives was briefly in the role of bassist for Car Seat Headrest. This Ibanez model was the only bass he performed with. In this video, you can see Ethan Ives playing with this bass. It is not a deluxe model, because the truss rod cover is blank, and the input digs into the body of the bass.
