Jerry Fogle
Jerry Fogle's Gear
Jerry can be seen in several pictures on Cirith Ungol's official website, Facebook page and a 1984 performance available on YouTube playing what looks like a Gibson Korina Flying V. However, this picture's angle allows to see better the headstock with the old Ibanez logo. This model was produced by Ibanez from about 1973 to 1978, thereby matching with the era when Jerry started playing in Cirith Ungol.
In this picture from Cirith Ungol's official website, Jerry can be seen playing an Ibanez Destroyer DT350.
In this interview by Psychedelic Baby Mag, Rob Garven, Cirith Ungol's drummer, mentions some of the gear used on the album "King of the Dead": "[...] Jerry at the time was playing an Ibanez flying V through a Musicman tube top using a MXR distortion plus."
Several pictures on the official website, as well as the live footage from the 1984.11.09 performance in Los Angeles available on YouTube, show Jerry playing a Gibson Korina Flying V.
