Michael Devin's Effects Pedals
Seen at 3:24 in the source, he uses the TC-Electronic Flashback Delay pedal during his bass feature in conjunction with his octave/harmoniser pedal to get a very fiddle-like sound. Was gifted to him by fellow Whitesnake member Reb Beach.
Seen at 2:43, Devin uses the MXR Bass Envelope Filter in order to get a more percussive sound out of his bass, often using it in conjunction with a looper in order to get a rhythm for his bass features in Whitesnake.
Seen clearly at 2:54, the EBS Dphaser Phaser pedal is noted to be used in a few songs for Whitesnake, specifically quoting "Still Of The Night" from the self-titled 1987 album and also in Devin's bass feature.
Seen at 4:12 during the video, Devin uses the Dunlop Bass Wah sparingly throughout his live sets in Whitsnake, as well as during his bass feature. Noted that this is the pedal he uses the least out of all the pedals he has on his board.
Seen at 2:18, Devin has the TC-Electronic Looper Pedal on the pedalboard ( or as he calls it, the "train-set" ) in order to loop sounds for bass solos and during his bass feature that he does with Whitesnake.
Seen at 3:02, the EBS Octabass pedal is used normally during very intense moments in the live set, quoting Devin from the source; "I usually engage it when we're all on a riff, like in Slow an' Easy". Used for beefing up his tone.
Seen at 3:41, he uses the Digitech Whammy in conjunction mainly with a delay pedal to get a fiddle-like tone during his bass feature, live with Whitesnake. Noted also to not be his, but his bass tech's pedal.
Seen at several moment during the video, but specifically at 4:26 during a wide shot of Devin's entire board, the Polytune Tuner is seen. It is of undeterminate model, as there are several models of the Polytune.
Seen at several moments in the source, but clearly at 4:26, we can see a Voodoo Labs power supply tucked behind both his Digitech Whammy pedal and his Dunlop Bass Wah, used to power his pedalboard.
