You see you can get into that and then you can get gain on the midranges, which for pedal steels, it’s important to have the high mids and the mids-mids. It’s really what it’s all about. Derek Trucks figured it out so that’s why he’s sly, he gets the creamy sound when he’s got his amps tweaked out too.”
