During a discussion with Sam Teskey after The Teskey Brothers' show at the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto in the summer of 2019, Sam mentioned his preference for the Fender '68 Custom Deluxe Reverb amplifier over the '65 Deluxe Reverb, which he had used on their worldwide tour. Despite his preference, the '68 Custom Deluxe Reverb was too heavy to travel with, leading them to rent amps on the road, where the availability of the '68 model was limited. In the live performance video of "Pain And Misery" at the Melbourne Zoo, you can see the amplifier in use.
