Samus Paulicelli

Samus Paulicelli incorporates a Pearl Export drum kit into his setup, featuring three rack toms, two floor toms, and two bass drums. This is evidenced by his Instagram post, where he invites fans to a live YouTube session showcasing his raw drum sounds.

Samus uses Roland triggers on his kit. He uses a td-10 to power the triggers

In this video Samus shows off the Ddrum chrome triggers he bought. These are the first new triggers he bought in 13 years. He decided to try Ddrum triggers after using Roland triggers for years. Samus' signal chain starts by going from the triggers into the module, and then midi out to his interface. From there he goes to the ezdrummer software which gives his all of his trigger sounds

Samus uses all pearl drums. He states that he thinks pearl makes the best drums. According to HIs website, Samus uses the session custom maple kit. He has an 8, 10, 12, 14,and 16 inch toms. He has two 22 inch kick drums. He pairs this kit with the Pearl Joey Jordison signature snare

In this video Samus Unboxes the Pearl E/merg electronic kit. Samus will sometimes replace the toms on his Pearl session series acoustic kit with the emerge pads. He does this to create a hybrid Eelectric/acoustic kit. Samus is able to do so because the emerge comes with similar tom mounts to the ones on his Acoustic kit

In this video Samus covers Cry by Sepeltura. For this cover Samus uses a hybrid setup. Samus used a combo of his acoustic kit, real cymbals, and emerge tom pads. The rack toms and snare are from the emerge while the floor toms and bass drums are from his acoustic kit. Samus is able to do this because the emerge kit comes with similar tom mounts to his Pearl Session kit. Samus triggers each pad similarly to how he triggers his Acoustic kit

Samus Paulicelli uses a Pearl Masters Maple Gum Drum Kit, which includes 8, 10, 12, 13, and 16-inch toms, a matching 13x6.5 inch snare, two 22x18 inch kick drums, and four rocket toms of varying lengths. The kit is finished in "Satin Charred Oak" with Black Nickel hardware and is referred to by Paulicelli as the "Monster Kit."
