Steven Seawright's Amplifiers
Steven Seawright uses the TC Electronic RH750 bass amplifier head, known for its lightweight "Class D" design and 750-watt performance. This amplifier head is praised for its excellent tone, making it a staple in both live performances and studio settings as a preamp. The unit features an optional controller pedal for remote control of its three presets and mute function, along with a high-contrast tuner display. This usage is evidenced by a user-uploaded photo on Fbcdn.
Ampeg products are used by lots of professional players today. Steve's cabinet of choice is the SVT-410HE. The SVT-410HE is versatile enough to be used by itself for smaller shows or paired with another 410HE or 115E cabinet for a full stage show. In Steve's festival and full show setup, it is paired with an SVT-115E cabinet for maximum stage volume as needed.
Ampeg products are used by professional players everywhere. Steve uses the Ampeg SVT-115E to supplement his SVT-410HE cabinet. The 115E, with its 15-inch speaker, provides extra low-end response to the already powerful sound of the SVT-410HE.
The TC Electronic BG250-112 is my go to combo amp for rehearsals and small venue gigs. It features a 250 watt amp, with 12-inch speaker and horn. The amp-head features a 3-band eq with preamp and master control, 2 "Tone Print" control slots and a precision tuner. Also features an aux input and headphone output for quick rehearsals.
