Description

The TC Electronic BG250-112 bass combo amp took the power and tone that made the Bass Amp 2.0 line so popular, and then loaded it up with top-notch features. The 1x12" 250W combo comes equipped with a built-in tuner, 3-band intelligent EQ and, of course, TC Electronic's trademark TonePrint system that allows users to beam professionally made effects and tones from their smartphones directly to the BG250-112, controllable with an optional footswitch.

Other features include six effects types - chorus, flanger, vibrato octave, SpectraComp and Bass Drive - a headphone output (which mutes the speaker), auxiliary input to play along with your favorite tunes, USB mini port, a mute button for quiet tuning, and a balanced XLR output for direct recording in the studio or a clean feed to the mixer for live playing.

TC Electronic BG250-112 & BG250-208 Combos review | Guitar World

guitarworld.com

The TC Electronic BG250-112 combo is a lightweight, feature-packed bass amp that excels in practice and recording settings. Its standout TonePrint technology allows for customizable effects, while the amp's versatile EQ settings offer a range of tones from modern slap to vintage warmth. However, the amp's built-in compression can be heavy-handed, especially at higher volumes, making it less suitable for loud rock performances. Despite this, the BG250-112 delivers impressive sound quality in more intimate settings, making it a strong choice for those seeking a portable and affordable bass solution.

Fantastic Combo

The TC electronic BG250-112 is in my opinion, the best combo you can get for the money: its a 250w RMS combo with a 12" driver, that pumps out punchy, clear tone. its intelligent eq system works like a dream and the tone print feature is lovely.

its a £300 amplifier that sounds like a £500 amplifier. and its half the weight too.
