My Gear 13

Everything about this guitar checks the boxes for me. The playability is great, love the neck as it is very comfortable , the shape of the guitar is unique, the finish is beautiful, and I love the pickups. The two tele single coils have a lot of good twang to it. I noticed many people complain about the humbucker at the bridge, which I admit it took me a bit to get used to, but I found a good purpose for it; it gives great feedback for solos and for doing some raw garagey type rock. It is a pretty versatile guitar, but I will say to those who play extreme types of music like Death Metal, etc, it won't pull it off well. My only complaint is it's a bit heavy. Other than that, it's such an amazing unique guitar. If it weren't for the heaviness, I'd give it 5 stars.
Title says it all! I've wanted a Breadwinner for about 20 years since I saw Colin Newman of Wire and Steve Marriott of Humble Pie playing one in old concert footages. But due to the price of the original Ovation Breadwinner, it was out of my price range and hard to obtain at the time. Fast forward several years later, and Eastwood started making copies of the original and i finally acquired one quite recently. The body is very comfortable, it's a decent weight, and I love the pickups; they give off a very unique sound and tone. Some of my close friends have commented on its unique sound as well, not to mention they have also commented on its unique look. Such a beautiful playing guitar.
Took me many years to find the right amp for me, and the Fender Blues Junior was love at first sight. It has such a great clean sound and it takes pedals very well! Its very versatile, but I don't recommend it for extreme forms of music like Death Metal etc. I love this amp so much that I want to get another as a back up. Definitely recommend it. Also, it's very light too and it's loud enough to be heard for a decent sized crowd.
