Does what it's gotta
Great clean boost which I use to push a Marshall DSL100H's dirty channel successfully. It can also be cranked on a clean channel to get a good low-gain tube breakup sound.

The real thing
It hasn't failed me yet. I use it to control parameters on the Line 6 M13. Good, sturdy metal construction and a simple volume control never moves unless I want it to. Does good volume swells, but that's not my thing.

Reliable main guitar
Classic Fender tone with nothing scarily unfamiliar. Kind of lacks in low end and midrange frequencies, but it takes gain very well and has good sustain. Run the single coils close to the strings, turn the master volume on a JCM-800 up all the way and use the preamp gain for adjustments. Pure rock power.
